The second NAMPO Cape Show was bigger, better and … colder

This post is also available in: Afrikaans

The second NAMPO Cape Show, which took place in Bredasdorp from 4 to 6 September, was visited by altogether 20 150 visitors and drew 400 exhibitors. This is more than the 16 245 visitors that went through the gates last year.

ProAgri will publish a full report on this year’s NAMPO Cape in next month’s issue. However, we decided to show our readers some of the highlights of the 2010 NAMPO show which should bring enjoyable memories to visitors who had been there.

The cold snap during the show clearly did not bother the Merino sheep in their cuddly woollen coats.
Eben van der Linde and Gideon Basson of FORD SA boasting with the new 2.0ℓ FORD RAPTOR with a 10-speed automatic gearbox enticing more than one onlooker to get into the cab and disappear over the horizon leaving only a RAPTOR dust trail.
The Nedbank flower exhibition was again a highlight on the NAMPO Cape Show calendar with several impressive protea arrangements.
Hilde Reeders of Pony Pals, and Betsie, her dwarf goat, attracted lots of attention during the show.
