After 116 years of leadership in a highly competitive field one can certainly regard oneself as market leader, and that can be said of Stewarts and Lloyds.

The well-known dealer, who can supply everything when it comes to steel, has 30 branches all over South Africa and is still expanding. The industries in which they have already made inroads, are light and general engineering, building, mining, rural waterworks, chemical, petro-chemical, vehicles, water reticulation schemes, fire protection, municipal environment, and, of course, agriculture.

“Stewarts & Lloyds supply steel and pipes, connectors, valves, pumps, irrigation equipment, fencing material, profiles and plasma products,” says Kevin van Buuren, group merchandising manager: hardware. “Our retail dealer network, covering the whole country, sell the above products as well as wire, fencing material, industrial tools and security products.
