TRAMiRLOC TAG vee-sekuriteitstelsel / Stock Security System

Tramirloc is die ProAgri 2009-lesersopname se hoofborg met hulle veebeveiligingstelsel ter waarde van R14 754. Die pakket bestaan uit ‘n basis-veldstasie en 15 elektroniese merkers. Hierdie gevorderde stelsel sal selfs die mees geslepe veedief in sy spore stuit.

Die basis-veldstasie word op jou plaas opgerig deur dit op 'n paal van vier tot nege meter hoog te monteer. 'n Battery wat deur 'n sonpaneel gelaai word voorsien dit van krag.

Die basis-veldstasie se ontvangsreikwydte kan tot 6 kilometer wees afhangende van die terrein en die hoogte van die veldstasie (byvoorbeeld ‘n basis-veldstasie wat op 'n koppie staan sal ’n groter reikwydte hê as een wat op die platte aarde staan). 'n Enkele veldstasie kan dus in ideale omstandighede tot 10 000 ha dek. Dit word egter aanvaar dat 'n basis-veldstasie normaalweg ’n minimum ontvangs-radius van 300 ha sal hê.

Die merkers wat om jou diere se nekke gehang word, stuur radioseine na 'n basis-veldstasie uit. Die merkers word van krag voorsien deur batterye met 'n verwagte leeftyd van drie tot vier jaar.

Die stelsel werk só:

Die basis-veldstasie 'sien' die merkers wat die diere saamdra. Sodra jou vee abnormaal begin rondbeweeg, word daar ’n selfoon-teksboodskap (SMS) en ’n gemiste oproep (missed call) van die basis-veldstasie af na jou selfoon gestuur. Die stelsel kan ook geprogrameer word om die alarm na meer as een selfoon te stuur.

Die teksboodskap verskaf spesifieke inligting ten opsigte van die alarm, onder meer in watter kamp of groep die diere wat versteur word, is. Hierdie vroeë waarskuwing stel jou in staat om betyds hulp te ontbied of om die booswigte terstond te stuit. Boere wat die afgelope twee jaar Pro-TAG-tor se stelsel op hulle plase geïnstalleer het, het selfs alarms ontvang wanneer hulle diere deur roofdiere aangeval word.

Op plase waar daar swak selfoonontvangs is, kan Tramirloc antenna-versterkers voorsien. 

Die hele stelsel is peuterbestand en sal alarm maak as daar met enige van die komponente (insluitende die basis-veldstasie) gepeuter word.

This innovative device ensures that even the slyest stock thief will be stopped in his tracks if he tries to steal your animals.

The base field station is mounted on a four to nine meter mast at a suitable position on your farm. It is powered by a battery charged by a sun panel.

The base field station’s reception area can be as wide as six kilometers depending on the terrain and its height (for example a base field station on a koppie will have a much wider reception area than on flat terrain). A single base field station can cover an area of 10 000 ha in ideal circumstances. It is accepted, however, that a base field station wil cover at least 300 ha.

Tags carried around your animals’ necks send out radio signals to the field base station. The tags are powered by batteries that last up to four years.

The system works like this:

The base field station “sees” the tags on the animals. As soon as your animals are disturbed and start moving in an abnormal way, the base field station sends a short message and a missed call to your cell phone. The system can also be programmed to send an alarm to more than one cell phone.

The short message gives you exact information, for instance in which camp the incident is unfolding or which group of animals are disturbed. The early warning enables you to call for help in good time or apprehend the villains immediately.

Farmers report that the Pro-TAG-tor system even warns them when predators attack their animals.
If cell phone reception is bad on your farm, Tramirloc can provide you with an antenna booster.

The whole system, including the field base station, is tamper proof and will sound the alarm if anyone fools around with any of the components.
